Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT)
Measuring in Boiler Feed Water, Steam and Condensate
Many modern power plants are operated in the combined cycle mode. In the first step, a gas turbine produces electricity. The hot off gas from the gas turbine is fed into a conventional thermal boiler system with another steam turbine, resulting in a very good overall efficiency. In the above schematic, the measuring locations for pH, Cond and DO are highlighted.
