The P41000 isolation amplifiers have been specially conceived for measurements of bipolar voltages from millivolts to volts. They reliably isolate high potentials at the input circuit. The isolating distances are designed to withstand permanent voltages up to 3600 V AC/DC and fast transients up to 20 kV.

Protection against electric shock is achieved through protective separation according to EN 61140 between input and output and power supply. Specially designed for current measurements using a shunt resistor.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Used in Process or Applications

Test systems generate control voltages in a battery model in order to simulate temperature conditions for battery management systems (BMS) and evaluate the temperature management of the BMS.
For battery electric commercial vehicles, there is a quick-charging option via pantographs. This requires a contact between an external infrastructure system (with movable pantographs) and permanently installed charging rods on the vehicle roof. A DC roof container contains components that check the charging connection and the corresponding voltage, and establish the connection to the other on-board systems.
During battery tests, the charging and discharging operations (battery cycles) are continuously simulated in a HIL (hardware in the loop) configuration that corresponds to the typical use profiles when the electric vehicle is in operation. In the process, a series of parameters are measured, including capacity, battery efficiency, and self-discharging.
