Stratos Multi E401X- Multiparameter Transmitter for Hazardous Locations

Joining Knick’s range of established process analyzers, the new Stratos Multi can now also be used in hazardous locations. Thanks to ATEX, IECEx, and other national approvals, the multiparameter transmitter can be installed in Ex Zone 2. Particularly worthy of note are the intrinsically safe sensor inputs, which enable sensor installation and safe operation up to Ex Zone 0. Appropriate explosion-proof sensors are also available from Knick.
Quick installation, easy maintenance
As zone partitioning in the new Stratos Multi E401X takes place directly within the transmitter, there is no need for special Ex accessories during installation. Installation is simplified, also enabling cost reductions. The new Stratos Multi offers a range of benefits. These include the flexible use of Memosens, digital, and analog sensors for various different process variables such as pH, ORP, conductivity, or oxygen.
The color graphic display makes operation simple with full-text menu navigation in numerous languages. All status messages are shown with standardized colors, icons, and information in accordance with NE 107. In addition, smart diagnostics management with a sensor wear monitor, calibration timer, sensor diagram, and further functions serves to simplify operation and maintenance of the measuring point. The new process analyzer can be used in a wide range of scenarios covering everything from chemicals and pharmaceuticals to the food industry.
