Used in Process or Applications

Measurement of pH value, redox potential, and conductivity in cooling water, which has to be continuously treated with acid and biocides.
The taste and quality of beer are highly dependent on the quality of the water used for brewing it. It is determined by pH and conductivity measurements.
Sugar production places extreme requirements on pH sensors. As early as the beet washing phase, it is important to monitor the pH value since the lime is metered on the basis of the pH measurement.
In a wide range of industrial sectors, cooling towers are used to dissipate process heat from cooling circuits. Mineral deposits and corrosion reduce their efficiency and lead to premature wear on plant parts.
High quality requirements are placed on raw milk, and online monitoring of truck unloading procedure at the dairy prevents inferior quality (sour milk) from spoiling the entire stock of the storage tank.
