ACHEMA 2024 - Review and Impressions
Per the trade fair slogan ‘We start where others stop,’ Knick focused on fully automatic sensor cleaning and maintenance, digitalization, and solutions for the demanding requirements of biopharmaceutical production.
Packed Halls, a Full Program, and Five Days Completely Focused on Process Engineering
After a slightly smaller 2022 edition that nonetheless provided valuable inspiration, the leading trade fair for the process industry is back on course for growth. 2,842 companies from 56 countries presented themselves in an exhibition space totaling 100,000 square meters. 63 % of the exhibitors and nearly half of the 106,000 visitors came from abroad. The ACHEMA has never been this international.
Lunchtime and a Party at the Booth
Enjoying a delicious lunch at Knick – this is a treasured ACHEMA tradition for many long-standing business partners. As usual, ‘our’ chef indulged our guests and us à la carte in the lounge area. Even the most interesting trade fair visit needs a small break, and we’re excited to again offer our customers and business partners a setting for productive conversations during each fair day.
Whoever thought that booth parties were a relic of the past was allowed to reconsider this opinion on the evening of the second fair day. Knick is an international company; therefore, many colleagues came together from all over the world. Even after a long day at the trade fair, our feet weren’t tired and there was plenty of dancing.
Looking Ahead to the ACHEMA 2027
There are now another three years until the next ACHEMA; the trade fair is returning to its usual schedule. At Knick, we’re already excited about which topics we’ll be discussing with our customers and partners in 2027 and we’ve already started working on the next advancements. After all, we start where others stop.
