P27000 - 480 calibrated I/O possibilities at up to 1000 V

The P27000 is a high-voltage isolated signal conditioner that offers the ability to take non-standard output signals produced by devices such as shunt resistors, batteries, and current transducers and convert them to the more standard units and ranges typically seen by control systems. And with 1000 V of isolation provided at both the input and output channels of the P27000, it is a powerful solution in high-voltage testing applications, including as a front-end device for data acquisition systems, when the acquisition hardware does not have a high enough level of voltage protection.
This is achieved without any appreciable loss of accuracy, as a gain error of less than 0.08% of the measured value is guaranteed across all 480 calibrated ranges.
Accuracy, fast Response and Safety
The P27000 also allows for rapid control in the application, by way of its fast response. A 10kHz cutoff frequency helps to ensure that a conversion of 90% of the entire range (T90) is seen in less than 70 microseconds.
Full 3-way galvanic isolation brings peace of mind that complete electrical separation for up to 1000 V AC/DC will not make its way from any path between input, output and power supply. This is important both for the accuracy of signal and the safety of components and personnel.
And speaking of power supplies, the P27000 contains a broad-range supply from 20 to 253 V AC/DC, which allows it to be powered without the need for an auxiliary device in most situations.
All of this happens in a 12.5 mm wide, din-rail mountable unit. This means that a compromise between panel space and performance is not necessary.
