A battery manufacturer would like to detect welding errors in production at an early stage. This requires low voltages to be monitored in high-potential environments. The P52100 VPD high voltage transducers from Knick are designed with a standard voltage detection range between 50 and 4200 V. Thanks to its high level of flexibility, the threshold value of the voltage presence detector can be reduced to the desired ±3 V. This means that the battery manufacturer can reliably measure low voltages with an overload of up to ±1 kV.

The P27000 signal conditioner works in a similar way. Thanks to the flexible adjustment of the cutoff frequency from 10 to 20 kHz, it can process even rapidly changing input signals.
