Change of Legal Form to Knick GmbH

As of October 1, 2026, our legal structure is expected to change to a GmbH. We are currently awaiting registration in the commercial register. “Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG” becomes “Knick GmbH”. This is an identity-preserving change of legal form. The company continues to exist as the same legal entity. Existing business and contractual relationships will therefore generally remain in effect.
Until we are registered in the commercial register, we will continue to use our current company name. As soon as the registration is complete, we will announce it and begin using the new company name “Knick GmbH”.

Knick has experienced continuous growth in recent years and is now an internationally active company. As part of this development, steps have now been taken to adjust the corporate structure.
The former Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG is to be converted into Knick GmbH. The change of legal form, which preserves the company's identity, has already been filed with the commercial register; registration is currently pending. The change of legal form will take legal effect upon registration.
"With this step, we are aligning our corporate structure with a legal form that is commonly used internationally and easily understood. At the same time, this allows us to establish a suitable legal framework for the continued growth and long-term development of our company," explains Marcus Knick, managing director.
The new GmbH will continue to hold all of the rights of the GmbH & Co. KG—nothing fundamental will change for our employees, customers, and partners. All that needs to be done is to update the master data; a few contracts require additional information. Essentially, we remain Knick—we have always been and continue to be the first point of contact for sophisticated measurement solutions!
