Description
Communication module for easy connection of the Protos II 4400 transmitter to PROFIBUS PA systems
Communication of measurement data and events between measuring point and system control.
The fieldbus module enables secure digital networking from the process control system (PCS) to the sensor.
This allows not only the transmission of measurement and system data, but also implementation of the transmitter’s Audit Trail functions and control of a cCare system.
The module meets all requirements for standard-compliant communication in PROFIBUS PA networks, enabling seamless integration into process control systems from all major manufacturers.
PROFIBUS
- Easy integration into existing PROFIBUS systems
- Transmission of up to 12 measured values to the PCS
- Provision of all sensor parameters when using Memosens (calibration data, sensor name, etc.)
Audit Trail
- Transmission of audit trail records directly from the transmitter via fieldbus
- Access control with the company's own user management system
- Provision of calibration records for retrieval in the PCS
cCare – Controlling/Monitoring
- Starting cCare programs (sensor cleaning, calibration, etc.)
- Feedback on the status and activity of the cCare system
